STAR after school is a non profit organization designed to provide a variety of educational activities disguised by fun! The Galaxy program is open everyday from the time school lets out until 6:00p.m. All children are divided according to grade and rotate through 3 different activities lasting between 45 minutes to 1 hour. Rotations include:

THE THINK TANK – Two teachers assist children with homework assignments, creating a quiet and focused environment where the children are able to receive help as needed. In addition, our IQ Go Math program is provided for children to develop confidence in math skills through accuracy and speed.

ENRICHMENT – Anything from drawing and painting to music and theater, the STAR kids participate in a variety of hands on art projects and musical performances leading up to our end of the year Extravaganza!

SPORTS – STAR kids learn the skills of the major sports (baseball, basketball, soccer, football, volleyball, etc.) through drills, rules, competitions, and tournaments. More importantly, kids learn about sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork.
